Midtown Dirt is the garden blog of Ava Middleton, a garden writer and journalist who lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Ava inherited her love of gardening and pursues her passion for gardening relentlessly. She tends a cottage garden on a small lot in Midtown Memphis. Ava loves to tour private gardens, buy gardening books and is a certified plantaholic. Ava, a Master Gardener and a member of the Garden Writer’s Association, graduated from the University of Missouri with an MA in Journalism.
